Vacancy at DUT for Ass. Professor of Transport Engineering & Logistics

The Assistant Professor of Transport Engineering and Logistics will make an active contribution to the research group’s curriculum for both the Bachelor and Master programmes. The Assistant Professor will be expected to develop and give lectures in both Dutch and English and to supervise Master students in their final year. Developing and carrying out research projects and publishing research results are also essential parts of the job.

Ideally the candidate will have a PhD and will have completed a Mechanical Engineering Master's in the field of Transport and/or Logistics. He or she will have 3-5 years of experience in this field and will have knowledge of CAD, simulation and/or analysis software. We seek a colleague who has an affinity for teaching and experience in carrying out research. The appointee will be a team player with good didactic skills.
