On June 15, 2012, the TRAIL PhD Council organises a TRAIL PhD Event in Utrecht.

The aim of the Event is to connect and inspire TRAIL PhDs. The Event starts with a couple of inspiring presentations about research at NS that fits within the TRAIL domain. This is followed by a workshop where PhD students can meet other TRAIL PhDs. This part of the day is sponsored by NS.

The Assistant Professor of Transport Engineering and Logistics will make an active contribution to the research group’s curriculum for both the Bachelor and Master programmes. The Assistant Professor will be expected to develop and give lectures in both Dutch and English and to supervise Master students in their final year. Developing and carrying out research projects and publishing research results are also essential parts of the job.

Call for research leaders to recommend postdoctoral candidates for short research projects on commuting by bicycle

The NWO Sustainable Accessibility of the Randstad (DBR) Programme Committee calls research leaders to recommend postdoctoral candidates interested in carrying out short research projects into one or more of the following themes related to the bicycle.
The candidates should have a spatial planning or other relevant background and be available to start the research soon. The research concerns the following themes:
